Hey there, I'm Brianna Howarth. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Writing and a minor in Creative Writing. I currently work at my college alma mater as an Instructional Designer/Writer writing and editing undergraduate and graduate online courses.

When I'm not at work, I can be found drinking chai lattes and reading poetry or sweating at the gym. I mainly write personal essays, memoirs, and poetry, but I have a knack for op-eds, reviews, and journalism. My inspiration stems from others who can craft language in beautiful ways: Ellen Hopkins, Sierra DeMulder, Roxane Gay, Shinji Moon, Marya Hornbacher, and Amy Krouse Rosenthal.

My work has been featured in South Jersey Magazine, Artemis, Port City Review, Thought Catalogue, and Words Dance. To view my writing, feel free to visit my Portfolio.

And for some light reading and a laugh, check out My Blog, which is about how this twenty-something-year old wanders through adulthood.
